Seattle Colleges - Community Speaker Series - Sasha LaPointe
The Seattle Colleges Division for Access, Community and Opportunity and the Inaugural Tribal Government Liaison to the Chancellor honor November as Native Heritage Month with a special Community Speaker Series speaker, Sasha LaPointe!
The event, was held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Broadway Performance Hall at Seattle Central College. Indigenous author, poet, and artist, Sasha LaPointe (Upper Skagit, Nooksack) is author of "Red Paint, Rose Quartz" and "Thunder Song." Sasha discussed her experience growing up and her books, and was followed by a Q&A session hosted by emcee Patricia Allen-Dick, Navigator - Division for Access, Community, and Opportunity!
