Bob Santos Known to many as "Uncle Bob," Robert Santos has been called the "Mayor of the International District" because of his efforts to preserve and develop Seattle's International District. He takes host, Lowell Deo on a walk through the International District and thinks back about his childhood growing up in the International District.
Jack Block Jack Block reminisces about the Seattle waterfront history, and his experiences on the Seattle waterfront as a dockworker to Port Commissioner. He talks with host, Lowell Deo about the growing pains and struggles that helped make Seattle what it is today. With comments from Seattle historian, Walter Crowley.
Lee Minto Lee Minto, talks about her 26-years as Executive Director of Seattle-King County Planned Parenthood. Minto helped transform Planned Parenthood, from a small grassroots organization into the largest and most trusted voluntary reproductive health care organization in the country. She recalls the struggles in the early days of the reproductive rights movement in Washington State.
Stan Boreson Stan Boreson, "King of Scandinavian Humor" and veteran Northwest entertainer is celebrating his 45th year in show business. A successful entertainer from the onset, Stan appeared for 18 years on several Seattle television shows including his longest running and most successful "Kings Klubhouse." He talks with host, Lowell Deo about the early days of children's television in Seattle
