Jean Walkinshaw created this video to accompany the Cascadia Art Museum's exhibit "A Spirit Unbound - The Art of Peggy Strong." This special exhibit runs September 9, 2016 - January 8, 2017. Peggy Strong was one of the leading regional artists of the mid-20th century. She developed a significant reputation as a painter and muralist, despite the paralysis she suffered in an automobile accident in 1933. Jean shares with viewers her memories of her talented sister Peggy.
