The latest edition of SCCtv Presents brings you a special
program produced by future filmmakers, students at Seattle Central
Community College's Film
and Video Program. Their show Resource airs on SCCtv Sunday, March 1 and Sunday, March 8 at 7:30p.m.
Students from the Fall 2008 Studio Production class were challenged
to produce a quality television program with a focus on how the Seattle
Community College District is intertwined with and impacts our area culturally
and economically.
This group of students rose to the challenge! In producing Resource they illustrate how two College District programs, the Northwest Wine
Academy's award-winning wine-making
program at South Seattle
Community College and the unique
Sustainability Program at Seattle Central's Culinary Academy,
truly make a difference to our community.
Keep in mind that the students creating Resource had little or no previous experience in creating
programming for television. We think
you'll agree they succeeded beyond anyone's expectations.
SCCtv Presents brings to air programming we think should be
seen. We think you'll that Resource is
an entertaining, informative and enlightening program.
You can see SCCtv Presents - Resource broadcast
on SCCtv, Comcast Ch 28/Millennium Ch 19 on Sunday, March 1 at 7:30p.m. and again on Sunday, March 8 at 7:30p.m.
