SCCtv General Manager John Sharify was honored with
the "Outstanding Work" award from the TEARS Foundation.
John's television story on the group and it's
mission, to provide parents financial assistance to pay funeral expenses when
they've lost a baby, was included as part of his winning entry for the National
Edward R Murrow Award in the Writing Craft category. John will receive the Murrow Award in New York on October
13.
